Emergency Meeting

March 5, 2007

On Wednesday, March 5, 2008, the Board of Trustees of Nimishillen Township met in special session for an emergency meeting at 3:00 P.M. at the Nimishillen Township Administration Office located at 4915 North Nickelplate NE with the following trustees present: President Michael L. Lynch, Vice President Lisa R. Shafer and Allen E. Gress.

Mr. Lynch called the emergency meeting to order at 3:00 PM and reported the Dispatch Center at Fire Station #3 located at 8000 Columbus Road NE, Louisville, OH had lost power and when the transfer switch tried to switch over, it was destroyed due to the ongoing water leak. Mr. Lynch said it is hopeful that our insurance company will pay for at least some of the damage.

Mr. Lynch further explained the Dispatch Center is now using generators to keep the center in full operation and asked the Board for a resolution to authorize expenditure estimated to be less than $50,000 for repairs to the Dispatch Center located at Nimishillen Township Fire Station #3 and to proceed immediately to correct the problem.

Mr. Gress motioned to empower the Fire Chief to take necessary steps / action to correct the problem as stated by Mr. Lynch seconded by Mrs. Shafer. Roll call voting: Gress – yes, Shafer – yes and Lynch – yes. MOTION CARRIED. RES#08-170

Mr. Gress motioned to adjourn AT 3:04 PM seconded by Mrs. Shafer. Roll call voting: Gress – yes, Shafer – yes and Lynch – yes. MOTION CARRIED. RES#08-171
