On Thursday, December 1, 2005, the Board of Trustees of Nimishillen Township met in Special Session at 12:00 noon at the Nimishillen Township Hall located at 4422 Maplegrove NE with the following members present: Trustee Vice President Todd D. Bosley and Trustee Russell L. Goffus. Trustee President Virginia K. Macdonald was absent.

The Nimishillen Township Board of Trustees met in Special Session to discuss retaining an attorney for pending litigation regarding the Groffre lawsuit.

Trustee Todd Bosley motioned to go into Executive Session at 12:20 p.m., seconded by Russ Goffus. Roll call vote went as follows: Todd Bosley – Yes and Russ Goffus – Yes. Motion carried. Res#05-276

Russ Goffus motioned to come out of Executive Session at 12:35 p.m., seconded by Todd Bosley. Roll call vote went as follows: Russ Goffus – Yes and Todd Bosley – Yes. Motion carried. Res#05-277

Russ Goffus motioned to retain Attorney Greg Beck and Attorney Jim Matthews for $3,000.00 to $5,000.00 and at a reduced rate from $200.00/hour to $135.00/hour and if accepted at the Supreme Court level, it could be an approximate total cost of $13,000.00 to $15,000.00, seconded by Todd Bosley. Roll call vote went as follows: Russ Goffus – Yes and Todd Bosley – Yes. Motion Carried. Res#05-278
