Case: Appeal
#557:
Sam Noturno, 2508 Demington, Canton stepped to the podium and said he’s
asking for continued use of 7921 Georgetown as a restaurant and bar. It will be similar to what’s there now but he
will be making some updates. He said Sam
Ferruccio is helping him get his D5 and D6 Liquor License – said he should have
no problem because he’s never had any arrests or felonies.
Mr. Noturno said the club was in serious disrepair. It needs new heating and the kitchen needs to
be updated among various other repairs, which he either has done or is in the
process of doing. The pavilion needs to
be repaired or maybe even replaced.
Other extreme remodeling is needed such as the ceilings and plumbing. He has also cleaned out the creek and cleaned
up the property and wants to reclaim what was there. The lot will be
paved. People will be able to fish. No membership is needed. He plans to open in mid June 2011 and will
have twenty-one (21) employees.
When asked by a Board member if he’s ever run a restaurant
before, he said no but his fiancé is manager at the Outback and he thinks the
two of them will be able to make it a success.
He said he’s been going there ever since he was a kid and has always
loved it there.
